We were asked to design and produce two windows to completely obscure the external view but let in the light and add some much needed colour to the hospital chapel. The panels consist of squares and rectangles of hand-blown cylinder glass with deep sandblasted leaf details. These have been kilnfired to soften the sandblast and painstakingly bonded to the base glass. The external face of the unit has been sandblasted with a brush leaf pattern to obscure the view and add some movement to the windows.
